Hello Brother: I am a disabled vet as well and I deal with chronic pain everyday and night. I have had two major surgeries on my left leg that was injured in the GW and OEF?OIF. I to had to fight the system from bad reviews to neglected care. However I now do get more and it was worth the fight. I also find it hard to find work as when I tell the employer I am disabled vet I never get a call back. Go the the VA center and go to release of information and request your records all medical and dental and there you will find the information you need to put together your case. Also I use the Disabled Vets of America as reps to represent me in the medical cases I file for.
Do not give up I never did and now things are somewhat better with me. I also won my appeal and was able to save my percentage they wanted to take from me.
