hi,

just wanted to say hi.. disabled paratrooper, honestly the VA is no worst at treating pain then civilian doctors. what makes the va seem worst is that they limit treatment options to a very short list, where civilian doctors will do anything your insurance covers..

Dear airborne,

First of all, welcome! We're so glad that you found us here and we hope you will be able to participate in our discussion boards and chats.

Thanks for posting! You are correct. The lack of adequate pain care affects military, veterans, and civilians alike.

We currently have three bills for each of these groups in various stages of their trip through Congress.

Make sure to watch for Alerts and ways you can help us to get the word out.
